Morfometria aplicada ao cocolitóforo Coccolithus pelagicus (s.l.) à escala do Atlântico Norte, para os últimos 6 Ma. Implicações paleoceanográficas e paleoecológicas da presença de distintos morfótipos.

Positions:

2016-present: Post-doc researcher at CIIMAR-Madeira through ARDITI. Coccolithophore community from Macaronesia: comparison between islands and seamounts.

2012-2015: Post-doc researcher at Center of Climate, Meteorology and Global Changes, University of the Azores. Influence of volcanic activity, namely carbon dioxide and ashes emissions, in phytoplankton (Coccolithophores) communities from the Macaronesia.

2007-2010: Post-doc researcher at University of Lisbon and University of Salamanca. Coccolithophore assemblages response to the surface and climate dynamics of the Adriatic Sea, during a succession of glacial and interglacial intervals (MIS 1-10).

Teaching experience:

2010-2012: Science teacher of the basic third stage at Colégio Quinta do Lago.

2000-2001: Teaching collaborator in the practical course of Paleontology at the University of Lisbon.
